Multi-award winning independent television production company, Candour Productions joins with aql and MTN Safety for their 5G test project ‘Live & Wild’.

Live & Wild will test the capacity of 5G to support the needs of film production in the UK in a variety of extreme remote locations, terrains and weather conditions.

If successful, the results will create significant change to the way we are able to make film and TV.

The project is designed to test how well 5G works in real filming scenarios using a range of kit from high end professional cameras to smartphones.  

The video content we create will be broadcast in a number of ways: live streaming, edited short films and longer form films throughout 2021 and early 2022.

Professor Adam Beaumont leads the aql team and Zac Poulton leads MTN Safety.
